Arkansas beat Frisco on the strength of starter Patrick Napier's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-1. Napier, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up no walks. The Travelers' win now puts them at 20-12.

The Travelers got a big at-bat from left fielder Benedict Parlett. For the game, Parlett was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Arkansas a 3-0 lead.
