Lyle Minger knocked in all 5 runs for the Midland RockHounds, helping them beat the Tulsa Drillers, 5-4. The winner was Jeremiah Whiting in relief. His record improves to 1-2. James Moran took the loss. Midland, at 9-23, occupies 8th place in the Southern League Texas Division.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Minger hit a curveball from James Moran for a solo home run. The RockHounds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
