Both teams had their chances, but the Northwest Arkansas Naturals eventually prevailed.

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Aidan Brown into a win. Instead, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals prevailed, 4-3. Brown threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Levi Gonzales picked up the win in relief for Northwest Arkansas, while Houston Hollander took the loss. Jay Hall earned the save for Northwest Arkansas, his 4th of the year.

Cedric Marcotte had a direct impact on the outcome. Marcotte contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Northwest Arkansas up, 4-3.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Pensacola manager Mike Bankhead, "let me know."

The Naturals now have a record of 8-26.
