Trash Pandas Score Late, Clip Scouts, 6-5
|
The 6-5 Rocket City win over Chattanooga was due in large part to Colton Eriksen. The Trash Pandas right fielder went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Rocket City pitcher Ted Hill got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Craig Kendall got the loss. Rocket City has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
Rocket City got a knockout punch from Rodrigo Castillo. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"We ground out the win," said Castillo. "That's all that matters."
