The Mississippi Braves and Shreveport Engineers riveted fans at Engineers Ballpark.

Shreveport Engineers starter Rich Gayle kept the Mississippi Braves hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Gayle, the winner, moves to 4-0. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 2 walks.
