The Montgomery Biscuits eked out a 3-2 win versus the St. Petersburg Flying Squirrels at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Turk De Santiago. He was terrific. After today's action, Montgomery sits at 23-16, while St. Petersburg falls to 23-16.

Yorbis Pérez helped out the Montgomery cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the third baseman went 1-3 with a double and a walk.

Despite the victory, Pérez was prickly with assembled media after the game. He said only that he was "happy with the win."
