Aces Tag Scouts with 2-0 Loss
|
Jeffrey Hammonds, who is tied for 3rd in the SL in innings pitched with 51.1, pitched well, but the Chattanooga Scouts still fell short, losing, 2-0, to the Alexandria Aces at AT&T Field. The Aces now have a record of 16-21.
The Aces had to work out of trouble with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 2-0, Alexandria. But Chattanooga, with the bases empty, had mounted a threat. Billy Lamica dug in at the plate. But on a 2-0 fastball, Lamica flied out.
