Missions Drop to .500 After 2-1 Loss to Scouts
|
The Chattanooga Scouts claimed a close win over the San Antonio Missions, due in large part to Reagan Daly. The Chattanooga right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. Daly got the win, improving to 5-2. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. With the win, the Scouts have a record of 26-18.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when left fielder Shad Houck hit a triple. The Scouts went on to win.
"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Houck told a Chattanooga Daily News reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
