Yonkers and New Hampshire duked it out and the Dark Knights came out victorious.

The Yonkers Dark Knights beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 5-3, at Gunslingers Ballpark. Chase Thomas Jr., in particular, was impressive. He was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. B.J. Hart wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save.

With Yonkers leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Thomas Jr. hit a splitter from Zach Lowe for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Dark Knights ahead, 4-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Thomas Jr. said.

Yonkers is now 4-9.
