The Rocket City Trash Pandas handed the Shreveport Engineers a 4-3 defeat at Hank Aaron Stadium. Center Fielder Colton Eriksen starred for Rocket City. He went 3 for 3 with a home run and 2 singles. The 6th-place Trash Pandas sport a record of 19-22.

Batting in the bottom of the ninth, 26-year old second baseman Finn Howell had a real shot to win the game. Shreveport pitcher Roarke Ambrose was determined not to let it happen. But with no outs, Howell hit a run-scoring single. The Trash Pandas had a walk-off triumph.

Rocket City manager Alex Salcedo called it "a pretty good win."
