The Midland RockHounds topped the Alexandria Aces, 4-3, in Southern League action at Blue Wahoos Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Midland pitcher T.J. Padamada. Getting the save was Jeremiah Whiting, his 9th. The RockHounds go to 19-28 with the win.

Midland used a well-timed hit by Leroy Woodcock to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the RockHounds ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"I want us to get on a roll," said Woodcock. "It'll happen when everyone's committed to the cause."
