Engineers Win Nail-Biter
|
The Shreveport Engineers topped the Frisco RoughRiders by the score of 4-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Jeremiah Munsell. Munsell was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Engineers on the day. The winner was Shreveport reliever Juan Cisneros, now 4-2. The loser was Titus Rodriguez. The Engineers have now won 4 straight.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Munsell hit a splitter from Titus Rodriguez for a run-scoring single. The Engineers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
