Streaking Biscuits Win Another One, 3-1
The Montgomery Biscuits, behind a great outing from Clodoveo Castro, who leads the SL in strikeouts with 75, defeated the Corpus Christi Hooks, 3-1, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Castro, now 9-0, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Kevin Yeamans got the save, the 5th for him this season.

Montgomery left fielder Brody Ross contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a changeup to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 31st hit of the season and put the Biscuits ahead, 3-0.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Castro.

Montgomery, having won 12 in a row, is now 38-14.
