Both offenses were relatively subdued at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Fortunately for the Chattanooga Scouts, though, Sebastian Iñiguez was able to deliver in the clutch. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times, to lead his team past the Alexandria Aces, 3-2. Jayden Larson, the winner, is now 2-7. He struck out 5 and walked 2 over 7 innings, while allowing 2 runs on 5 hits. Earning his 12th save for Chattanooga was Keith Wootson.
T.J. Frias had a direct impact on the outcome. Frias contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Chattanooga up, 3-0.
Iñiguez said his team "played with determination."
