Missions Bounce Trash Pandas, 7-4
|
Kyle Block had a hand in San Antonio defeating Rocket City by the score of 7-4. Block went 4 for 4 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 1 runs. Even with the win, the Missions have a dismal 15-34 record.
San Antonio used the bat of Elijah Popek to capture the win. The third baseman jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Missions ahead, 5-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"I was hoping to make good contact," said Popek. "I wasn't trying to knock the snot out of it."
