The Frisco RoughRiders stopped the Corpus Christi Hooks, 5-3, in 10 innings at Whataburger Field. The RoughRiders got a big game from Lance Connolly, who went 2 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Frisco reliever Christopher Havill picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Nick Sarkozi took the loss. The RoughRiders win now puts them at 35-20.

Connolly had a game-changing triple in the top of the tenth. On a full count fastball from Nick Sarkozi, he banged a run-scoring triple to right-center, giving the RoughRiders a 4-3 lead. It was the 1st triple of the year for Connolly.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Connolly.
