Montgomery Hot Streak Continues with 7-6 Win
Shreveport right fielder Jayson D'Emilio had a good game, even if his team did not. The Engineers dropped a 7-6 decision to Montgomery at Engineers Ballpark. D'Emilio went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. John Perucho, who is tied for 4th in the SL in wins with 6, was the winner. He's now 6-1. The loser was Tony Marcus. The Biscuits have now reeled off 14 straight wins.

Montgomery used a well-timed hit by Derek Meyer to capture the win. The center fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Biscuits ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"This game can get contagious when you're going good offensively," said Montgomery manager Daniel Adkins.
