Behind a solid performance from right fielder Paco Salvadore, the Tulsa Drillers defeated the Biloxi Shuckers, 8-7. Salvadore went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Drillers. Getting the save was Stewart Wimbush, his 4th.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Salvadore delivered big-time for Tulsa, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Pelu Fa'amasino. The game-changing hit put the Drillers on top, 8-7.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Drillers manager Isaiah Paulsen.

The 4th-place Drillers lifted their record to 34-22.
