The Alexandria Aces topped the Montgomery Biscuits, 4-1, in Southern League action at Blue Wahoos Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Alexandria pitcher Joseph George. George, now 4-2, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Grant Herrera closed it out for his 3rd save.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Dylan Taylor stroked a go-ahead 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put Alexandria in front, 2-1.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said George.

The 7th-place Aces lifted their record to 23-35.
