The Midland RockHounds knocked off the San Antonio Missions, 4-2, in Southern League action at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. Midland pitcher and St. Johns, Arizona, native Usman Etebo had an outstanding performance. Etebo got the win, improving to 4-9. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Vicente Villaverde got credit for the save for Midland. It was his 5th of the year.

Mercurio Zaragoza had a direct impact on the outcome. Zaragoza contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Midland up, 4-2.
