Alexandria got a terrific game from designated hitter Dylan Taylor. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Frisco, 8-6. Taylor was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. Frisco reliever Karson Frey was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Emerson Castillo took the loss. Spencer Murphy earned save number 10.

Seth Viramontes had a big bases-clearing triple for the RoughRiders in the bottom of the second inning. With Frisco leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from Emerson Castillo and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the RoughRiders ahead, 4-0.

"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Viramontes.

Frisco occupies third place in the Southern League Texas Division at 41-30.
