Frisco Makes It 7 Straight with 5-3 Win
|
The Frisco RoughRiders picked up a win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, knocking off the Montgomery Biscuits, 5-3. Starting pitcher Jesse Haugen played a key role in the triumph. Spencer Murphy got credit for the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The third-place RoughRiders have won 7 straight.
Eitor Rosa, the 26-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rosa contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the 11th inning to put Frisco up, 5-3.
"I still think this team can play even better," Haugen told the Frisco Daily.
