Led by Chase Lenz, the Tennessee Smokies defeated the Alexandria Aces, 4-3. Lenz, a native of La Habra, California, was 3-6 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Smokies. Tennessee is now 32-43. Alexandria is 42-33.
In the bottom of the 14th, with the score tied, Lenz hammered a solo home run to win it for Tennessee.
