The Tulsa Drillers topped the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 5-0, in Southern League action at Hammons Field. The standout performance belonged to Tulsa pitcher and Buffalo, New York, native Matthew Wallerich. Wit Webb earned the save, his 2nd. The 4th-place Drillers go to 41-36.

The Drillers got a big hit from first baseman Nickolas Matthias. In the bottom of the fifth, Matthias pounded a 2-run double to right. His 1st double of the season put the Drillers ahead, 3-0.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Matthias told the Tulsa Daily.
