The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

Midland got an elite performance from starting pitcher Sancho Sequeira in securing a 2-1 decision over the Corpus Christi Hooks. Midland reliever Noah Lankard picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Caleb Lewis absorbed the loss.

Midland got a clutch hit from Peyton Allard. The center fielder launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Allard.

The RockHounds saw their record improve to 36-44.
