The home crowd had a good time watching the Montgomery Biscuits and Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp get after it.

The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp beat the Montgomery Biscuits, 9-2, at Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Natalio Ortega, who is tied for 8th in the SL in stolen bases with 9, starred for Jacksonville. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Picking up the win was Joseph Sawit. He went 5 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits. The left--hander struck out 4 and walked 2.

Early in the game, Ortega had a 2-run home run for Jacksonville. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Jumbo Shrimp on top, 2-0.

"We didn't put our best foot forward tonight," said losing manager Hector Bonilla.
