RoughRiders Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Braves, 7-5
The performance of Ethan Miles proved critical in helping Frisco beat Mississippi, 7-5. The RoughRiders designated hitter went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Josiah Groeneveld came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. With the win, the RoughRiders hiked their record to 42-40.

Miles had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-1 forkball from Santos Porras, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the RoughRiders a 7-5 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Miles.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Miles told the Frisco Today.
