Shuckers Get Dramatic 8-6 Triumph
Ayden Covington powered the Biloxi Shuckers to a win over the Frisco RoughRiders. The final score was 8-6. The Biloxi left fielder was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. The win went to Brendan Kaiser in relief. His record improves to 2-4. Sterling Green took the loss. Biloxi is 37-45 and Frisco, with the loss, 49-33.

The decisive blow was delivered by Sylvain Parent in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Sterling Green to win the game for Biloxi. The home crowd went nuts.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Parent said in reaction to the win.
