Floundering Aces Lose 6th Straight
Ron Marcum had a 5-RBI night to help the San Antonio Missions down the Alexandria Aces, 8-7. San Antonio pitcher Harrison Owen got the win, upping his record to 4-1. Sugar Ray Bivins got the loss. San Antonio, at 32-53, occupies 8th place in the Southern League Texas Division.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With San Antonio trailing 7-4, Marcum jumped on a fastball from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Sugar Ray Bivins and hit a grand slam home run to right-center. With one swing, the Missions had a walk-off win.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Carson Lee, the Alexandria manager.
