The Montgomery Biscuits defeated the Arkansas Travelers, 7-5, at Dickey-Stephens Park today. Leading the charge for Montgomery was right fielder Vimaro Cobian. He was 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Henry Wolfe picked up the save for Montgomery, his 14th of the year. Their 42-43 record puts the Biscuits 4th in the Southern League Southeast Division.

With Montgomery leading 4-0 in the top of the fourth, Cobian came up to bat against Arkansas pitcher Mark Solly. Cobian hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Biscuits on top, 7-0.

"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," Cobian told the Montgomery Gazette. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
