Arkansas turned a good effort from starter Nathan Spiller into a win over the Tennessee Smokies at Dickey-Stephens Park. The Travelers won the game, 2-0. The Travelers now own a record of 68-20.
The outcome hung in the balance with no one down in the top of the eighth. With the bases empty and Tennessee trailing 1-0, Chase Lenz grounded out. It was a big out for Arkansas pitcher Dominic Bates.
