The Montgomery Biscuits had to overcome a fine effort from Rocket City pitcher Elijah Shipley to win, 4-2, at Hank Aaron Stadium. Shipley went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Pablo Aguero got credit for the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3.1 innings. The Biscuits now own a record of 52-38.

Elijah Schulte had a direct impact on the outcome. Schulte contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Montgomery up, 4-2.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Rocket City skipper Alex Salcedo, "and it cost us."
