The Shreveport Engineers and Midland RockHounds put on a pitchers' duel.

In a low-scoring game between the Shreveport Engineers and the Midland RockHounds, pitcher Aiden Rioux was masterful on the mound. The Shreveport right-hander spearheaded his team's 1-0 win. Jason Tillett was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

Rioux, a native of Saanich, Canada, was dealing all game. He kept Midland hitters off-balance, while giving the Engineers 7 quality innings. Rioux threw 93 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 7.

"Aiden is still learning," said Engineers manager Dustin Booth. "The sky's the limit for him."
