It was pandemonium at FNB Field after an exciting walk-off win.

The Gateway Grizzlies beat the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 7-6, in 11 innings. Gateway right fielder Steven González, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Oscar Carrasco notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 2-2.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, González hit a fastball from V.J. Allberry for a solo home run. The Grizzlies, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This game tested our mettle," said González.

With the win, Gateway climbs to 10-8.
