The Shreveport Engineers picked up a win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, downing the Montgomery Biscuits, 4-1. On the mound for Shreveport was left-hander Reilly Foley, who played a pivotal role in the win. Vinny Williamson finished the game for Shreveport and earned his 9th save. The Engineers, at 66-28, have now won 5 straight.

Sylvain Parent had a direct impact on the outcome. Parent contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Shreveport up, 4-0.
