Altoona had no answer for 24-year old right-handed pitcher V.J. DeShazo. The Somerset Patriots starter stymied Curve hitters, helping the Patriots cruise to victory, 6-1. The winning pitcher was DeShazo, now 2-0. He tossed 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 6.
