A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Yonkers Dark Knights and Wichita Pilots.

Yordis Delgadillo did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Wichita Pilots from losing, 9-7, to the Yonkers Dark Knights at Regions Field. Delgadillo was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Leeroy Watson earned the save, his 6th.

Ruy Ortiz, the slick-fielding center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Ortiz contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Yonkers up, 5-1.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Ortiz told a Yonkers Observer reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."

The Dark Knights raised their record to 15-8.
