Kumquats Raise Rally Flag, Beat Chandler, 3-1

Bryan Korpela made an impact in the 3-1 Kissimmee win over Chandler. Korpela went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Kissimmee reliever Jorge Palmeira was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Yuvenal Brito. Amaury Domingues collected save number 2.
Korpela had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 fastball from Yuvenal Brito, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Kumquats a 3-1 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Korpela.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Korpela told the Kissimmee Daily News.
The victory makes Kissimmee 3-3.
