The Glendale Gauchos powered past the Sedona Steers, 10-1, at Sloan Park. Mateo Nuñez went 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 6 runs and scored once, to lead the charge. The Gauchos, at 7-13, sit in 8th place in the Arizona Rookie League North Division.

With Glendale leading 3-0 in the top of the eighth, Nuñez hit a fastball from Arthur Bell for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Gauchos ahead, 7-0.

"We can't expect to win," said Sedona manager Nate Winegar, "with that kind of performance."
