The performance of Hedley Milliron proved critical in helping Sanibel beat Oviedo, 10-1. The Sailors third baseman was 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Douggie Arritt got the win, improving to 1-1. He worked 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 3. Adam Swope locked down his 1st save.

Eric Proctor drove in one run for Sanibel. The 18-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Greg Melvin. It was his 6th RBI of the season.
