Dolphins Snag 2-1 Win
|
The Sanibel Sailors got a sterling performance from pitcher Michael Borbon, but the West Palm Beach Dolphins still prevailed, 2-1. Borbon threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The first-place Dolphins are now 12-5, the Sailors 7-9.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with West Palm Beach trailing 1-0, Alanzo Morales jumped on a 1-2 screwball from Austin McEachern for a 2-run home run, sending the Dolphins to a walk-off win.
Morales told a local reporter: "My job is to go out and play as hard as I can."
