Valenzuela Spins Shutout Against Canucks Saturday, September 15th, 2007 In a very sharp performance at Canucks Ballpark, Arturo Valenzuela of the Acuexcomac Steelhounds blanked the Delicias Canucks, 1-0. He permitted 3 hits and finished with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in the Steelhounds victory. "Arturo goes out there and just goes about his business," Steelhounds manager Sean Thompson said in his postgame press conference. "I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on. No matter the pitch, you know he's going to be where he needs to be." This year Valenzuela has recorded a 3-12 mark. In 21 starts he has fanned 88 batters in 103.2 innings with a 5.21 ERA.
