Pirijanian Wins PCL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 1st , 2052 Luke Pirijanian punched, poked and pummeled the baseball last week and today he garnered a majority of the votes for the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week award. The El Paso Chihuahuas first baseman slashed out a .522 average with 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs and 4 RBIs. Thus far this season in 66 games Pirijanian is batting .340 with 8 home runs, 28 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 241 at-bats. |
