Omaha Loses Kai Schaefer Sunday, September 9th , 2068 Kai Schaefer will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Omaha reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Schaefer was injured while throwing a pitch in the Storm Chasers-Aces clash at Blues Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 9-10 months. For the year, Schaefer has collected 5 saves in 13 relief appearances. He has also notched 76 strikeouts and 26 walks in 102.1 innings while registering a 3.78 ERA and a 7-6 won-lost record. |
