It was a parade of hits for Alex Cervantes of the Gwinnett Stripers at Coolray Field.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Cervantes finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Stripers to a win, 9-6.
"Cervantes was really good and we were really bad," groaned Barons manager Steve Anderson. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
