Bermudes and Caso Fight, Get Suspended Saturday, September 2nd , 2062 After an intense confrontation, both the Bulls Judson Bermudes and the Oddballs Hollywood Caso were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Durham-Ottawa game. Judson Bermudes will miss 4 games, while Hollywood Caso was suspended for 9 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Judson Bermudes commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." On the season, Bermudes is batting .269 with 12 home runs and 46 RBIs. He has played in 97 games. |
