Pacific Coast League American Divison Champs Crowned: Iowa Cubs Saturday, September 13th , 2064 Fists were raised amid loud shouts throughout the Iowa Cubs clubhouse, as the team celebrated its place atop the Pacific Coast League American Divison. "We've been focused on winning this division all year, so it feels good to celebrate it," said first baseman Alexander Capilla. "We deserve the title and we want to bring the 5th AAA Championship Series to Iowa." It remains to be seen what will happen in the playoffs, but for now, with their 77-54 record, the Iowa Cubs are feeling atop the baseball world. |
