Dundies Geraldo Calle Down and Out for Year Tuesday, August 8th , 2051 When Geraldo Calle was hurt against the Durham Bulls, the Scranton Dundies were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 32-year-old starting pitcher suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Calle would miss 10 months of the season. This season Calle has worked 146 innings with 110 strikeouts en route to a 10-5 record and a 3.21 ERA. |
