Week's Best Player: Evansville's Roquet Monday, August 14th , 2051 This week Pacific Coast League pitching was a feast fit for a king and Ethan Roquet really made the most of it -- ripping them royally. The talented Evansville hitting machine produced a .435 batting average, 3 home runs, 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 11 RBIs and 4 runs. That kind of hitting earned him the PCL Player of the Week honors. Thus far this year Roquet is hitting .289 with 14 home runs, 36 RBIs and 28 runs scored. |
