Columbus's Velasquez Out 4-5 Months Saturday, June 13th , 2065 The season is apparently over for Aiden Velasquez. The Columbus Clippers medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 4-5 months with a torn back muscle. Velasquez was hurt in the game against Ottawa while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Thus far this season, Velasquez has posted a 1-0 record, started 1 games, struck out 24 batters in 30.2 innings and compiled a 3.82 ERA. |
